The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (prevention of atrocities) Act 1989 should be amended immediately to include specific provisions to address the caste based discrimination on dalit adivasi students

The Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (prevention of atrocities) Act 1989 should be amended immediately to include specific provisions to address the caste based discrimination on dalit adivasi students in central, state and private universities, iits, iims and other educational institutions. The professors and administrators, who are discriminating and causing mental agony to sc st students and in some cases forcing dalit adivasi students to commit suicides, should be punished by removing them from employment and should be put in the prison until their death. Principally I am against death sentence,  otherwise I would have proposed death sentence to these professors and administrators.
